El Alli i Oli - Traditional Catalan cuisine

For those who are looking for the most traditional and non-turistic option, the Alli i Oli is the super-authentic choice. Located in the popular quarters of Barcelona, the Alli i Oli offers a large variety of catalan dishes at very good price, with a big choice of "carnes a la brasa" (barbecued meat), generously seasoned of course with the famous Alli i Oli sauce. Be careful, the portions are huge, and the best option is to share various dishes between the guests, in Spanish style!

This restaurant is located a little far from the center (15mn in metro from Plaza Catalunya, red line, Fabra i Puig stop), but it is a good option for dinner if you stay in the Hotel Ibis in Heron City or for lunch if you want to do some shopping in one of the 230 shops of the commercial center La Maquinista nearby (15 minutes walking).
